On Friday, my sister and I braved “the storm of the century” to go check out Moorea Seal’s jewelry line launch! My sister met me downtown beforehand, and we wandered around Belltown for a while before heading in to the store. We found a great little coffee shop called Street Bean. They had delicious coffee, and wonderful Pokemon art on the walls!
While the storm was disappointing, the jewelry was beautiful! It was all celestial themed, which I love. My favorite pieces were definitely the eclipse friendship necklaces, and the moon phase bracelets. We had a great time looking around the store, and enjoyed some delicious Molly Moon’s ice cream while we were there.
I just went with something simple as far as an outfit goes. I work downtown, so I wanted something that would be comfortable to wear to the office all day, then translate well to wander the city in the wind storm we were expecting. I ended up in my fall uniform, stripes, anorak style jacket, boots, and a beanie. I love this J. Crew sweater though, I got it from Buffalo Exchange, and its the coziest thing ever. That beanie makes me smile every time I wear it too after the adventure it had a few years ago. Nick and I went charter fishing, and it fell overboard while I was reeling in a fish! I thought for sure it would be lost at sea, but the man who owned the boat fished it out of the ocean for me! I caught my hat, and a salmon!
A very cute and practical outfit. I have also been admiring her new collection, jealous I couldn’t go to the launch.
